I carry my lunch most of the time to work in Mason jars however they are glass and well they will clink together so I grabbed some yarn and created these jar cozies...

Crocheted Pen Holder
I have a small purse and everything in it has it's place but one item was causing a few issues for me my PENS they were always in the bottom even when I stood them up in the bag well this weekend I fixed the issue I crocheted a pen holder.. My pen holder is short due to the different size pens I care some have those clips on the sides so to avoid getting them stuck in the yarn I made the holder about 6 inches tall is just perfect I also made it narrow only being about to hold no more then 3 pens (I am a bit of a pen hog) so 3 was the magic number and it is working out great!! Now I just need to buy a new business card holder tomorrow (mine has seen better days)..Here is picture of the purse and here is the holder
Here is picture of the purse it's about 8 x 8 x 4
Here is the holder can't tell by the yarn picture but it's pink/purple/black/gray style yarn looks pretty :O) I plan to make a few more longer and a little wider w/ a cute button to cover the end to hold the pens in maybe even a flap? and sell them at my yard sale using my scrap yarn and see if I can sale some to make a few extra $$ sell them for $1.00 since I have all the already needed items it will just be a project. I will post one as soon as I finish it.
UPDATE: WORK PERFECT!!! BIG TIME KEEPER IN MY PURSE!!

Yogurt Cubes
I had been surfing the net and came across frozen yogurt drops/dots as well as mini ice cube idea for smoothie making with out WASTING Yogurt..My total for 10 bags smoothies less then $7 plus I had extra berries left for eating.
I found some discounted Dannon Simple Natural Yogurt on markdown sale price was $1.99/50 % off plus more yogurt at home to do this plan.
I picked these mini cube trays up at the store a few weeks ago 3 for $1.00 and had them ready & washed..I filled them up each side held one (4 oz container).
I also places plastic wrap over then since I am unable to stack them (they don't stack (should have checked that) plus to keep freezer tastes/smells out of them too :O)into the freezer they went to freeze.
I also took fresh berries (Price $3.48/4 pounds) I diced for the smoothies and froze those in sandwich bags.
When the Yogurt was frozen (7) cubes each placed into each bag of strawberries just perfect to whip up a smoothie to go quickly.. plus I can get all these items on sale and save even more.

Stash Buster
I am working hard, OK not so hard to go through one 16 X 16 boxes of scrap acrylic yarn that is not very soft and find something useful to make with all these scrap balls and one 16 x 16 box full of skeins that are not soft at all :O( This is why I started these cute little scrubbies that I found on a Ravelry.
