I recently started eating yogurt that comes w/ fruit on the bottom However at $1.50 a container (5.5 oz) it's not in my budget. So had been surfing the net for a recipe to allow me to make fruit bottom yogurt cups from semi-scratch for half the cost...I found this recipe for Fruit Compote and let me tell you super YUMMIE and definitely a keeper recipe I used blueberries this time but next time some blueberries and strawberries... Not the greatest picture but you get my point...One Batch yielded my 6 cups plus leftover blueberry syrup to whip into a smoothie...
Ingredients I used basically heated for 18 mins over medium heat
2 cup of Frozen Blueberries
1 lemon squeezed
3 TBSP Honey
3 TBSP Water
